On Monday March 12, 2018 the fashion world had to say goodbye to Hubert Givenchy. Givenchy was one of the most prominent designers of his time as he has left behind an amazing fashion house and legacy. Givenchy was famed for his detail and his spot on designs that define chic French fashion. Givenchy was well known for creating some of the most timeless costumes for Audrey Hepburn, some say that Hepburn was his muse. Hepburn had approached Givenchy and asked him to make her costumes for the film Sabrina as her character had spent time in Paris. Givenchy was very busy at the time but Hepburn’s charm had persuaded him to create costumes for her roles. He created some of Hepburn’s most iconic looks in the film Breakfast at Tiffany’s as well as many more. Here is tribute to some of Hubert Givenchy’s amazing looks, may he rest in peace.
